Anastasia’s Refugee Story

Fight for Freedom, Ukrainian/Romanian Border

Anastasia, together with her 8 year old daughter, became Ukrainian refugees in Romania during the early days of Russia's latest invasion. With her boyfriend fighting on the frontlines, Nastya copes with stress and anxiety by helping her fellow Ukrainians. Aside from helping newly arrived refugees at the Romanian/Ukrainian border, she travels back into Ukraine weekly to provide humanitarian aid with the organization she now volunteers for, Fight For Freedom (www.fightforfreedom.ro).
